Who says “you don’t have the energy to exercise?”  Nonsense! A good exercise program will increase your energy level. Exercising will raise your spirits and help to revitalize you. You may not have much energy to speak of at first. In fact, it is my feeling that you will be quite “pooped” initially. In time, however, a very short time at that, you will feel incredible energy pulsing through your body.

This is known as “runner’s high” and it affects all of us at one time or another…those of us who exercise.  Stamina needed for work and/or enduring workouts will be made available to you at a moment’s notice.  That is because exercise, particularly aerobic or cardiovascular exercise, increases the oxygen capacity in your lungs.  You will breathe easier and deeper, and have new found energy; even on days you don’t exercise.

According to Harold Kohl, a statician at the Institute for Aerobics Research, people who complained of chronic fatigue were much less fit and had a lot less stamina than patients who didn’t complain of being tired all the time.  Just start exercising!  Soon enough, you will feel like a powerhouse and your whole body will begin to feel ALIVE!

So, we say: EXERCISE TO ENERGIZE!
